The Idaho Darfur Coalition is a group dedicated to not only raising awareness on the crisis in Darfur Sudan, we are trying to help people realize that they can make a difference.

     The genocide in Sudan affects us all; you may think that this is something taking place overseas, to people you have no ties to- but the truth is we have Sudanese and Darfuri refugees right here in the Boise area, living and working right next to us. Our organization strives to help our Sudanese friends not only in the United States, but their families abroad.

     We as Idahoans need to let the international community know that we will not tolerate this human rights injustice! We will do this by joining forces with local groups and start by raising awareness of this horrific tragedy. We will soon correct the fact that some people don't even know what Darfur is. After Rwanda we said "never again", but have not followed through, we want to bring a new meaning to that statement.

     By joining our force of energetic and hardworking volunteers to bring justice to those being attacked by their own government, you will learn, grow, and teach others about something you care about.
